Actor Shuya Sunagawa who recently appeared as Horobi in Kamen Rider Zero-One, recently held his first online birthday event called “Shuya Sunagawa Birthday Event 2020.” The event commemorated the actor’s 26th birthday. The event was held in two parts.
The event was hosted by Akira Shinomiya. After an initial greeting, they looked back on Sunagawa’s childhood starting with photos when he was 1 or 2 years old. The actor recalled that he was unpopular, had a serious fight with his brother, and excelled in volleyball.
The event included special messages from fellow Kamen Rider Zero-One actors Fumiya Takahashi (Aruto Hiden/Kamen Rider Zero-One) and Nachi Sakuragi (Gai Amatsu/Kamen Rider Thouser).
During the event, Sunagawa showcased his first photobook BASE which was photographed in Okinawa and Tokyo. He is currently very busy working and living in Tokyo. The photobook includes a long interview where fans can learn more about the actor’s life.
Sunagawa thanked fans for attending the event and for their support.
In 2021, the actor has announced he will appear in the stage show Road 59 as Himuro Show. He stated that he would have to get used to performing live on stage without being scared. After performing in Kamen Rider for a year, he wants to push forward in his acting pursuits.
Previously announced for the cast of Road 59 was Yuki Kimisawa (Kirihiko Sonozaki/Nasca Dopant in Kamen Rider W), Masahiro Inoue (Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade), and Shouta Aoi.
