Ultra Seven 4K Remaster Announced For Broadcast on NHK

NHK announced it will broadcast Ultra Seven in 4K. The remastered version will consist of all 48 episodes will begin airing on September 29. Two episodes will be aired each week with a highlight reel in the first three minutes of the show. The series is being remastered with 4K HDR from the original 16mm plate. The broadcast will have more detailed and colorful images.

Ultra Seven followed Ultra Q and Ultraman and was very popular. The show aired from October 1967 to September 1968. Additional broadcasts will be aired before the show to discuss Ultra Seven. They include interviews who previously appeared in the show and more.
