New Japan Pro Wrestling’s once in a century talent Hiroshi Tanahashi has been displaying his love for the Kamen Rider series through his ring gear.
Before COVID-19 paused NJPW matches, the Ace showcased his Kamen Rider Zero-One ring gear.
Tanahashi first debuted his Kamen Rider Zero-One Rising Hopper form-inspired ring design during Wrestle Kingdom 14 in January 2020, where he faced Chris Jericho.
Recently during the New Japan Cup 2020 event this month, which was the restart of NJPW events but without an audience, Tanahashi unveiled his Zero-One Metal Cluster Hopper form gear in a match against Taishi.

“Zero-One → Metal Cluster Hopper → Next, Zero-Two!?”
Tanahashi has expressed his love for the series several times in interviews in the past and had a major role as Kamen Rider Heisei Generations: Dr. Pac-Man vs. Ex-Aid & Ghost with Legend Rider. Tanahashi’s signature, where he points upwards, is adopted from Kamen Rider Kabuto.
From the Ace’s tweet, he suggests that a costume inspired by Zero-Two may come in the future.
