Kamen Rider Zero-One’s Aruto Hiden Wins PERSOL Character Award

Aruto Hiden/Kamen Rider Zero-One, who is portrayed by Fumiya Takahashi, was recently announced as PERSOL’s Work-Style Award 2020 winner in the Character category. This is the first year the Character category was added to the annual awards.

PERSOL group also posted an interview with Takahashi, as Aruto, about his life as a comedian, President, and Kamen Rider.

In a short video, Aruto and his assistant Is, are shown together thanking everyone and hoping for a world where humans and HumaGear can one day co-exist peacefully.

The Persol Work-Style Awards honor those who are working hard in diverse ways with a smile.

For the 2020 awards, a new Character category was added in the theme of “Work and Smile.” Included in the nominees were Aruto Hiden, the protagonist of Kamen Rider Zero-One, Kazumi Araiwa of Cooking Papa, All Might of My Hero Academia, and Yui Higashiyama of No Working After Hours!

Overall, there were 40 nominees in seven different categories.
