Kamen Rider Actor Hiroshi Fujioka’s Son Unveiled as Sega’s New Mascot Sega Shiro

Sega recently unveiled its 60th-anniversary website. On the site, there was news regarding Segata Sanshiro, who was portrayed by Kamen Rider 1 actor Hiroshi Fujioka.

Segata Sanshiro’s “son” has now appeared as Sega Shiro. Shiro is played by Fujioka’s real-life son Maito.

Fujioka has only recently begun sharing video and photos of his children, after trying to protect their familial relationship for several years.

Unlike Sanshiro, Shiro just wants to share information regarding Sega. His website states that he wants to share moments of Sega’s past and future with everyone. The overall website doesn’t have much information yet, but there is a planned section for interviews with Sega employees soon.

Along with the website unvieling was a new promotional video.

In the video, Shiro’s catchphrase is “Sega dayo” which means “It’s Sega!” When pressed about what Sega is, Shiro’s song begins to play.
