Details regarding the upcoming release of Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O have been revealed, along with promotional images.
Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O will be a 22-minute long video. It is the first show from the series in ten years after the end of the original series.
In the show, a young 10-year-old girl named Anna (portrayed by Hinata Takao) runs away from home after a fight with her mother. She becomes the main character. For some reason, Anna is chased by Shocker and jumps on the Denliner. On the train, she meets Momotaros, Kintarous, Urataros, and Ryutaros and travels back to the world of 1989. There, she meets another 10-year-old girl named Melon (portrayed by Tsugu Sasaki).
In the new images, it was revealed that Rina Akiyama, who portrayed Naomi on the original show, would be returning as the character. Also appearing is Isadevil, Kamen Rider 1’s nemesis.
Directing the show is Shojiro Nakazawa, who has had a long history on Kamen Rider and Super Sentai shows. Shoji Yonemura is writing the script, with Yasuko Kobayashi working as the editor.
Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O will be screened at the Toei Manga Matsuri event on April 24.
