The V-Cinema Kamen Rider ZI-O NEXT TIME: Geiz, Majesty will be screened for a limited time starting on February 28.
On February 3, a commemorative event was held featuring the star of the V-Cinema, Gaku Oshida, who portrayed Geiz Myoukouin/Kamen Rider Geiz.
In the first half of the event, there was a talk session between Oshida and the MCs. In the second half, Oshida answered questions from the audience.
One of the questions was related to the relationship between Oshida and his castmates.
Oshida mentioned that one week after meeting his cast maters, they went out to karaoke together and realized that they had a passion for music. He doesn’t usually go to karaoke but wanted to become friendly with the people he’d be working with for a year. Oshida said that going to karaoke together deepened their friendship and they often went together.
Regarding co-starring with senior Riders, Oshida said he is now on friendly terms with Minehiro Kinomoto (Ryu Terui/Kamen Rider Accel). He also became friends with Kentaro Kanesaki (Swartz) and Keisuke Watanabe (Woz). Together, they had fun talking about the show. Also compared to the main story where there were more serious stories, the V-Cinema uses school life as a base story, so everyone was able to relax more while shooting.
Oshida was asked who his favorite Kamen Rider was (other than Geiz), which he replied he loved ZI-O the most.
The children in the audience asked how they could become a Kamen Rider. Oshida told them to listen to their parents and teachers. Being kind to their friends was also important. If they do well, they can become a Kamen Rider.
