Kamen Rider Decade and Diend have announced a collaboration with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty.
They are the next two Kamen Riders to collaborate with Sanrio’s famous mascot. This is also the third collaboration between the Kamen Rider series and Hello Kitty. Previous collaborations include Kamen Rider Kabuto and Den-O, among others.
The collaboration comes with themed merchandise featuring Hello Kitty dressed as Decade and Diend.
There are various product previews so far, including t-shirts, keychains, towels, tote bags, and more.
In addition, Sanrio’s theme park in Tokyo will feature an event on Saturday, April 4th featuring the actors Masahiro Inoue (Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade) and Kimito Totani (Daiki Kaito/Kamen Rider Diend). The event includes a talk show and pre-sale of limited-edition merchandise.
Although merchandise featuring Kanna Mori, who portrayed Natsumi Hikari, as Kamen Rider Kiva-la was announced, she will not appear at the cast talk.
The announcement was made at the recent Sanrio Expo 2020, where Inoue and Totani were both in attendance. Inoue joked that he was going to destroy Sanrio Puroland, while Totani said he planned on stealing something.
More information regarding the cast talk at Sanrio Puroland will be announced in the future.
