Mashin Sentai Kiramager Press Conference With Cast Held on Hero Day

The press conference for the 44th Super Sentai series Mashin Sentai Kiramager was held on January 6, 2020, which also marked “Hero Day” in Japan.

At the event were the stars of the upcoming jewel-themed show, with debuts on TV Asahi on March 8, 2020 after the conclusion of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger. The Kiramagers also appeared alongside the cast.

There were over 2,000 auditions before the final cast was chosen.

The youngest cast member of the show is 17-year-old Rio Komiya, who stars as Jyuru Atsuta/Kirama Red.

Rui Kihara portrays Tametomo Imizu/Kirama Yellow and he previously appeared in an episode of Kamen Rider Amazons season 2.

Yume Shinjo portrays Sena Hayami/Kirama Green and Atomu Mizuishi is Shiguru Oshikiri/Kirama Blue.

Making a surprise appearance was Mio Kudo, who previously portrayed Kanon Fukami in Kamen Rider Ghost. Kudo will be playing Sayo Ooharu/Kirama Pink.

Also appearing in the show is comedian Daimaou Kosaka, as Muryou Hatamina. Kosaka is known for the “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen” song.

Also performing voice acting roles include Inori Minase, Tomokazu Sugita, Mitsuo Iwata, Kenji Akabane, Yuki Nagaku, Genki Okawa, Yuichi Nakamura (not to be confused with the Kamen Rider Den-O actor).

Directing the show is Kyohei Yamaguchi and the writer is Naruhisa Arakawa.

The opening theme song shares the same name of the show “Mashin Sentai Kiramager.” The OP will be performed by Yohei Onishi, who also performed the OP “Saa Ike! Ninninger” for Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, ending theme “Let’s ZyuOh Dance!” for Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, and other songs for the Super Sentai series.

The ending song “Kiraful Miracle Kiramager” will be performed by Takashi Deguchi, a popular children’s music performer with over 6 million views on YouTube. This is his first time performing music for the Super Sentai series.
