Ishinomaki Mangattan Museum Rider Exhibition Sees Highest Attendance Ever

There were over 92,700 visitors to the Heisei Kamen Rider Exhibition held at the Ishinomaki Mangattan Museum. The exhibition was held from April 20 to June 30, 2019. The museum first opened in 2001.

The number of visitors in June was a record high. Another high point was during Golden Week, where families had time off and were able to visit the museum.

The exhibition showcased the 20 Kamen Rider series that aired during the Heisei period. Kamen Riders also appeared on-site. Kamen Rider Kugga’s special appearance attracted approximately 3,800 visitors.

For the special stamp seal promotion, over 25,000 sheets were distributed. Those who gathered all 20 seals around the city and turned in their sheets for prizes reached 13,600.

The museum representative commented that they hope to increase awareness of the Ishinomori Manhattan Museum while also bringing more visitors to the city.
