Kamen Rider Zangetsu Stage Play Poster and Cast Talk Announced

In March 2019, the Kamen Rider Zangetsu stage play will be revealed. Yuki Kubota (久保田悠来) will reprise his character Takatora Kureshima/Kamen Rider Zangetsu from Kamen Rider Gaim.

The first stage play poster, featuring the cast, has been revealed.

The screenplay will be written by Nobuhiro Mori (毛利亘宏), who also wrote Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku Movie Battle. Mori will also be directing the play. The stage play will also be supervised by Gen Urobuchi and Jin Haganeya of nitro+, who previously worked on Kamen Rider Gaim. nitro+ will have a large part in participating in the stage play by assisting with the screenplay, creating costumes, and designing various creatures.

Additional actors were announced for the upcoming Kamen Rider Zangetsu stage play. They include experienced performers who have appeared in series, including BIOHAZARD the STAGE and Musical: The Prince of Tennis, such as (but not limited to):

  • Haruki Kiyama (丘山晴己)
  • Motohisa Harashima (原嶋元久)
  • Shota Onuma (小沼将太)
  • Uno Yuya (宇野結也)
  • Dai Goto (後藤大)
  • Atsuki Mashiko (増子敦貴)

An after talk has also been announced for both sets of performances. The cast in attendance will change depending on the date:

  • March 13 at 7PM: Minami Tsukui (Yoko Minato/Kamen Rider Marika), Yuki Kubota (Takatora Kureshima/Kamen Rider Zangetsu), Shota Onuma
  • March 14 at 2PM: Yutaka Kobayashi (Kaito Kumon/Kamen Rider Baron), Yuki Kubota, Atsuki Masahiko
  • March 13 at 7PM: Gaku Matsuda (Zack/Kamen Rider Knuckle), Yuki Kubota, Harashima Motohisa
  • March 15 at 7PM: Ryo Matsuda (Hideyasu Jounochi/Kamen Rider Gridon), Yuki Kubota, Yuya Uno
  • March 29 at 7PM: Yutaka Kobayashi, Yuki Kubota, Haruki Kiyama

The Kamen Rider Zangetsu stage play will be held in Tokyo from March 9-24, 2019 and in Kyoto from March 28-31, 2019.
