Ryo Yoshizawa (吉沢亮) portrayed Ryusei Sakuta/Kamen Rider Meteor in Kamen Rider Fourze. He recently appeared at a screening event for his upcoming role in Anoko no Toriko.
Yoshizawa also commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Kamen Rider series, since he appeared in the 13th Heisei series. When asked about his role, Yoshizawa stated, “I wanted to be a Rider since I was a child. It was fulfilled!” Though he was nervous at the audition, he managed to fulfill his longtime dream.
Anoko no Toriko is based on the manga series by Yuki Shirashi. Three childhood friends promise to become stars in the future. The story takes place years later, when the trio are now high school students. Yoshizawa portrays the male lead Yori Suzuki, who ends up standing in the sidelines while his friends, Shizuki Tachibana and Subaru Tojo pursue their childhood dreams.
Yuko Araki (新木優子) plays the lead, Shizuki Tachibana. Araki previously appeared in Kamen Rider Wizard. Rio Uchida (内田理央), who played Kiriko Shijima in Kamen Rider Drive, will play Hana Yamada.
Anoko no Toriko will be released in Japan on October 5, 2018.
