Kamen Rider Ex-Aid True Movie to Promote Pediatric Medicine with Government Collaboration

The Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare of Japan has announced a collaboration event with the movie Kamen Rider Ex-Aid True Ending. The event will occur on August 2, 2017 for Children’s Kasumigaseki​ Tour Day.

The main character of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Emu Hojo (portrayed by Hiroki Iijima) is training to be a pediatrician, and the theme of this collaboration is “Pediatric Medicine“.

Besides from messages from Hiroki Iijima for the children, demonstrations of emergency medical care by performers are planned.

This is not planned to be a large event for tokusatsu fans. This is mostly for infants to junior high school students. Only 35 people, not including parents, will be admitted to attend.

Participation will be chosen by lottery. The deadline to apply is June 12, 2017.

Posters advertising the movie will be posted at hospitals throughout the country with the purpose of enlightning residents of the “importance of pediatric medicine”.
