Exploring Thailand’s Kamen Rider Ramen Restaurant

Share

The writer of this article, Takuya Ito, is a former Japanese football player who moved to Thailand in 2011. Ito was born in the Showa era and shared his love of Kamen Rider with his son. While his son was more excited about Drive, Ghost, and Ex-Aid they enjoyed movies where both eras teamed up together.

Ito heard about a ramen shop in Lat Pla Khao, which was about 50 minutes from his residence. The name of the shop is “ก๋วยเตี๋ยวไรเดอร์” which is roughly translated as “Rider Noodle.”

Ito wondered who would welcome him that day, possibly V3 or someone else? But on this day, it was the store owner wearing a Kamen Rider Black t-shirt. But it wasn’t unusual to see him dressed as Kamen Rider No. 1 or someone else.

The store not only serves delicious ramen, but the shop is filled with tokusatsu merchandise. Kamen Rider, Ultraman and more decorate the store shelves and walls.

Rider Noodle is not only an exciting place for children but for adults.
