Every year when a new Kamen Rider series is about to debut, a special “baton pass” ceremony is held. Details for the baton pass from Kamen Rider ZI-O to Kamen Rider Zero-One have been announced in a press release on the TOEI website.

The final baton pass will take place on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 12:00 at Marunouchi TOEI. To commemorate the event, TOEI is inviting 60 pairs (120 people total) of fans currently registered on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC) app.

At the event, there will be a final screening of Kamen Rider ZI-O, along with the first episode of Kamen Rider Zero-One. A cast talk with the cast of ZI-O and Zero-One will also take place.

Qualified TTFC members can begin registering from Sunday, July 28 to August 8th. Winners will be announced on August 10th.

Kamen Rider Zero-One will officially debut nationwide on September 1 on TV Asahi and will air every Sunday at 9AM.
