Share

Kamen Rider ZI-O Special Event Savior’s Party was held on May 4th 2019 at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa. Seven members of the cast appeared: So Okuno, Gaku Oshida, Shieri Ohata, Keisuke Watanabe, Rihito Itagaki, Ayaka Konno, and Kentarou Kanesaki.

The first part of the event was a special stage show featuring Kamen Rider ZI-O, Geiz, and Woz. Sougo Tokiwa, the protagonist, is suffering from “May Disease” where some students or workers begin to feel a loss of purpose. Sougo is told that if he wasn’t a Kamen Rider, he would just be a NEET since he doesn’t attend university or have a job.

Sougo begins to feel down about his situation but talks about it with a Shocker. This meeting leads to a battle where Shocker appears from a future where their group has taken over. Though Sougo is feeling down, it’s thanks to the energy from the audience that he overcomes his May Disease.

The second part of the special event was a cast talk by all seven cast members who appeared. They spoke about various topics, such as costumes and their experiences on set. There was also a special segment titled “Celebrate! The Birth of the King” where everyone showed a photo and stated their favorite scenes in the show.

At the end of the cast talk, the cast showed off their transformation poses. They also performed songs, including: Oshida singing “FUTURE GUARDIAN,” Okuno performing “”Zi-O the King of Time,” and Watanabe shocked fans when he performed a new character song. Itagaki, Konno, and Kanesaki performed a Time Jacker song together.

At the end of the event, Okuno told the audience “ZI-O is still on-going. Please support it until the end.”

The event ended with the cast and Kamen Rider GIRLS performing the Kamen Rider ZI-O theme song “Over “Quartzer””

This event, which was held on May 3rd and 4th, was recorded and will be released on DVD on September 11, 2019.
