Kouhei Takeda (武田航平) has held two major roles in Kamen Rider series. He first portrayed Otoya Kurenai/Kamen Rider Ixa in Kamen Rider Kiva and most recently Kazumi Sawatari/Kamen Rider Grease in Kamen Rider Build.
“Kouhei Takeda Night” was a special event to celebrate his roles and the recent Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever film. The event took place in January 27, 2017 in Shinjuku. Also appearing at the event were Directors Kyohei Yamaguchi (山口恭平) and Kazuya Kamihoriuchi (上堀内佳寿也).
At the event was a screening of Kamen Rider Build episode 47 and Kamen Rider Kiva: King of the Castle in the Demon World. Over 2,500 lottery entries were submitted for fans to attend the event after the first come first serve tickets were sold out.
Kaho Takada (高田夏帆), who played Misora Isurugi in Kamen Rider Build, also made a special appearance.
Takeda refers to himself as a “Child of Heisei Kamen Rider.” At the event, the guests discussed his role in Kamen Rider Build, especially between Misora and Kazumi. One example was a tearful Misora said “Kazumin,” but in the script, it was meant to be a moment of silence.
A special message from Ryuta Tasaki (田崎竜太), the main Director of Kamen Rider Kiva, was read aloud to the venue. He was not able to attend.
