Takeru Satoh Speaks About Love of Kamen Rider
Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever is the final film of the Heisei period. The film was released at the end of December 2018 and has received positive reception from fans.
Fans were shocked when a familiar actor appeared in the film: Takeru Satoh (佐藤健). Satoh portrayed the protagonist of the series Ryotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider Den-O. After appearing in a Den-O films after the end of the series, he has not made an appearance ever since. Fans speculated he no longer wanted to be part of the series, which was untrue. Satoh even spoke at a special Kamen Rider Den-O event in 2017 featuring Yuichi Nakamura (中村優一) who played Yuto Sakurai/Kamen Rider Zeronos via phone.
Satoh recent spoke to Mainichi Kirei regarding his first time appearing as Ryotaro Nogami in ten years.
Satoh stated that it was a big honor to appear in the last Heisei Kamen Rider film. “Kamen Rider Den-O was my beginning role that taught me everything starting from nothing. I want to express my gratitude to those who supported me during those days and say that I still love them. The existence of a fictional Rider in the real world stays forever in our hearts.”
Satoh hopes that fans will see the film and he’s happy to share the experience with everyone.
Besides from having a guest appearance in Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever, Sato also recently starred in a CM alongside Takayuki Yamada (山田孝之).
