Top Coat Deletes Ukyo Matsumoto’s Twitter Account After Contract Expiration

Ukyo Matsumoto (松本享恭) portrayed Taiga Hanaya/Kamen Rider Snipe in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. He first signed with his agency, Top Coat, after being chosen in their 20th Anniversary Audition in 2014. Matsumoto’s acting career began in 2015 as Hayato Kijima in Ultraman X.

On the evening of November 26, 2018, fans were surprised when they noticed his Twitter account was deleted with no prior notice. Matsumoto’s Twitter account was where fans could read his thoughts and was also where his agency posted news.

J-Cast reached out to Top Coat about the account deletion. Top Coat stated that Matsumoto’s contract with the agency will end at the end of November. When asked why the contract was expired, the company said it was an internal matter and could not comment further.
