Kenichi Takito Cast as Voice Actor in Upcoming Kamen Rider Film

Kenichi Takito (滝藤賢一) is an actor who has appeared in a variety of films, including Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S., the Rurouni Kenshin series, and most recently will be performing voice acting in the upcoming video game Judge Eyes.

Takito was cast as the voice of the newest Imagin “Futaros” in the upcoming film Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever. Previously featured in Kamen Rider Den-O, Imagins are spirits that can possess people by signing a contract. Imagines can be both friends and foes. This will be Takito’s first appearance in the Kamen Rider series.

Regarding the role, Takito stated that after 22 years of being an actor, he can finally appear in Kamen Rider. He was excited when he received the role. One of his most vivid memories of Kamen Rider is when he saw a live stage performance of Kamen Rider Ghost with his family. When the enemies suddenly appeared within the audience seats, the kindergarden children sitting in the front were so scared they wet themselves.

Recording the lines of Futaros were difficult to Takito at first, but he sought guidance from suit actors.

The producer Takahito Ohmori (大森敬仁) stated that he believed Takito was a talented actor who could change more than a chamelon. He was confident that Takito could handle the voice acting role of Futaros well.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever is scheduled to be released on Saturday, December 22, 2018.
