Nayuta Fukuzaki (福崎那由他) previously appeared in Ressha Sentai ToQger and most recently in Inuyashiki and Rurouni Kenshin Part III: The Legend Ends. It was announced he will appear in the upcoming film Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever.
Fukuzaki will portray a 16-year-old high school student named Ataru. Ataru is a student who’s the same age as the protagonist of Kamen Rider ZI-O, Sougo Tokiwa, portrayed by So Okuno (奥野壮).
Producer Naomi Takebe (武部直美) stated he first discovered the actor three years afo and was impressed by his skills. Takebe felt that he was perfect for the role.
Concerning Ataru, Takebe said “If Sougo is the light, then there is a darkness. This character has to portray a carefree boy while also having an opposite side.”
Fukuzaki grew up watching Kamen Rider, including Den-O, Decade, and W during his childhood. Concerning his role, there are several scenes between both Fukuzaki and Okuno. He stated that there was only a one-year age difference between them, but were always kind towards each other.
Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2018.
