Kamen Rider Black Monument Rejoins Manga Road

The Ishinomaki Mangattan Museum has recently rebuilt and is slowly getting back to full speed after the 2011 Touhoku earthquake and tsunami. Recently, a ceremony was held to bring back one of its manga monuments.

Kamen Rider Black rejoined Manga Road since being removed during earthquake renovations. Ayumi Taguchi (田口萌), who portrayed Katsumi Kida, appeared at the ceremony to give a congratulatory message.

The monument is 166cm in height, including the pedestal. The total number of monuments on Manga Road is now 17.

In addition, smaller statues for Robocon and Kamen Rider 1, which were also stored, were announced to be reinstalled. These monuments will be placed on the site in special unrevealed locations on Monday, October 22, 2018.
