Upcoming Kamen Rider Movie Filming Blocks Four Lane Road

Filming has begun for the upcoming Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER movie. On October 14, in Ibaraki Prefecture, a 500 meter portion of a four lane road was closed from 7:00AM to 3:00PM. The road was closed on the South side of the Ibaraki Prefecture Government Office. A busy bus stop was located in this area, and had to be temporarily moved as filming occurred.

Approximately 500 people, including residents from the prefecture, were recruited as extras. They portrayed residents who support Kamen Rider.

One 6-year-old boy stated “Although the shooting was long and tiring, I was glad to see both Kamen Rider and the enemy nearby.” A 32-year-old woman appeared happy, saying “I look forward to seeing the movie.”

The scene is important to the film and is part of the climax.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER is scheduled for release on December 22, 2018.
