Additional Information Released Regarding Tsunenori Aoki Allegations
Additional information has been released regarding the arrest of Tsunenori Aoki (Ryoma Sengoku/Kamen Rider Duke of Kamen Rider Gaim) on April 5, 2018. He was arrested on the suspicion of forced bodily injury.
The incident occured around 1:30AM on March 4, 2018. Aoki admits that he had been drinking that night due to attending a drinking party. The party was held between “brothers who are not blood related.”
After the party, Aoki entered a shop, where he was caught on security camera hugging four different women within a 30 minute time frame. A passerby tried to capture him, but was not able to at the scene.
His victim was a woman in her 30s on a sidewalk waiting for the signal to change so she could cross. Aoki confessed to the police that he drunkenly grabbed the woman, a stranger, from behind and groped both of her breasts. The victim suffered from her neck and other bodily injuries for ten days. Aoki admits that he had reacted so strongly “to alienate himself from work stress.”
Aoki was identified by personal items he had dropped at the scene.
It was confirmed that the stage greetings for his upcoming film Yamikin Dogs 8, scheduled for April 14, 2018, was cancelled. The company behind the film apologized to fans for the cancellation. A rescheduled event has not been announced.
Aoki’s previous Agency, DOLCESTAR, made it clear they had previously cut ties with the actor. On April 6, 2018, DOLCESTAR announced that Aoki’s contract had expired on March 31, 2018.
