Ryosuke Miura and Kohei Takeda are appearing together in The Brand New Legend of the Stardust Brothers, sequel to the 80s cult-musical remake of Legend of the Stardust Brothers.
The original movie takes in the future, where Tokyo is thriving as a cyber-metropolis. Kohei Takeda (of Kamen Rider Kiva and Build), who portrays Shingo, is the bartender of a small bar. Along with Ryosuke Miura (of Kamen Rider OOO), as Kan, they decide to reprise their role as the Stardust Brothers once again in an attempt to achieve fortune and game.
The female boss of the organization “Flash Bubble” feels threatened by the rise of the Stardust Brothers. She sends her assistants to deal with the men. Can the Stardust Brothers survive?
The first movie was released in 2016 and won the “Japanese Cinema Splash Out of Competition” at the 2016 Tokyo International Film Festival.
The road show to promote the film began on January 20, 2018.
