Ruka Matsuda Expresses Gratitude to Fans on Ameblo and Instagram

Ruka Matsuda, who portrayed the heroine Poppy Pipopapo/Kamen Rider Poppy, updated her Ameblo on October 14, 2017. She wrote with spirit about the ending of the series and how grateful she was to fans.

Ex-Aid All Up

Long time no see.
Yesterday was October 13th, and the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid series is “all up”!
(No, I wonder if it’s today because it’s for both dates?)

Finally, it’s the end of shooting rainy scenes that symbolized Ex-Aid.

All up in the rain
I felt like I was baptized

Feeling like new, I feel I can fly from here.

For one year, I was able to do something for two people:
Not only act, but perform songs, dance, voice work, and do the program.

This past year has been really fortunate for me!

This is the first time I’ve been a regular part of the main cast for one year.
I played a special heroine, and there was some anxiety and Pippepopopanic, but I had to try to do it anyway.

You will be able to support many people

And see how the world has changed since a year ago
I got to see a lot of scenery
Many gave me warm words in your letters and messages

I’m Poppy today and tomorrow I’m Ruka. I’m very happy.

Thank you very much.

We will be able to give back to all of you, and I will cheer for you. I will grow more and more in the future.

I am really pleased to have been in a historic Kamen Rider series.
And not to be ashamed of that name.
I will continue to do my best in the future.
Thank you for your support!

Isn’t a group photo like this pretty rare?

I look forward to meeting you at the final vent final event at Nakano Plaza tomorrow!”

Matsuda also gave a message to fans on her Instagram account:

“Thank you very much for your love of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid
I would be very happy if you could put Ex-Aid in a corner of your memory somewhere
I’ll be happy if kids grow up and remember it when they’re older
I’m reading all your letters and messages, which are my treasures and my stregnth
Thank you for your support all this time!
I couldn’t have come this far without you.
I’ll keep on trying!
Thank you for always supporting me.
What will I do without you guys! LOVE!!
#kamenriderexaid #exaidforever”
