The number of popular actors that the Kamen Rider series has produced is unknown. Renn Kiriyama starred in Kamen Rider W as Shotaro Hidari. The work also starred Masaki Suda and quickly gained popularity. Kiriyama came back to the hard-boiled world again with the late-night tv drama Code: Mirage on TV Tokyo. He plays a cool protagonist who does not display emotions.
Code: Mirage started broadcasting on April 8, 2017. It is a large-scale project being released in 2 seasons with 25 episodes. It is a completely original work by Oji Hiroi who created the Far East of Eden and Sakura Wars RPG series. He also wrote the Sakura Wars manga.
Kiriyama plays a man who secretly handles crimes which are unsolvable by top-secret agents in the police force. His appearance in a high-end suit and glasses received positive reception from female fans. Shinji Takeda will play a villain with an intense aura.
When you hear “actor from Kamen Rider“, you may assume the actor made his debut from the series. Kiriyama worked many years as an actor before the show began. He worked part-time, took acting lessons, and swore he would be able to make his dreams come true. His debut came in in 2006. Kamen Rider W was his fifth role.
Kiriyama has a strong spiritual power and a rebellious heart hidden behind his gentle facial expression. Code: Mirage will be an opportunity to expand his range as an actor.
